Intracranial hemorrhage
One of the major issues that can arise from having hemophilia is intracranial hemorrhage. In this condition, a blood vessel within the skull ruptures. While this may occur due to an injury to the head, it can also occur on its own with no known cause. This is why hemophilia patients should be aware of this, as the blood disorder can be an underlying condition.
Some of the main warning signs of intracranial hemorrhage are as given below:
- An extremely painful headache.
- A constant feeling of confusion.
- An unstable vision, such as seeing double.
- A sensation of paralysis in the face.
- Slurred speech.
